Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits

SmartEdge IT provides flexible and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with prescription benefits for employees and their families. Unlike most companies, our health benefits activate on employees’ first day, ensuring immediate coverage. Our medical plan is provided through Trust Mark Health Care’s PPO, dental through Principal’s Dental PPO Network, and vision through VSP.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

We offer two FSA plans for employees to set aside tax-free funds for health care or daycare expenses not covered by insurance. These plans help employees save on federal, state (where applicable), Social Security, and Medicare taxes for eligible expenses.

Life and AD&D Insurance

SmartEdge IT provides basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance at no cost through Principal Life Insurance. We cover the full premium, offering employees added financial protection for their families.

Supplemental Life Insurance

Eligible full-time employees can opt for additional life insurance for themselves, their spouses, and dependent children through convenient payroll deductions.

Long-Term Disability Insurance

To safeguard income in the event of disability due to illness or injury, SmartEdge IT provides long-term disability insurance at no cost to all eligible employees.

Short-Term Disability Insurance

Employees can purchase short-term disability coverage through payroll deductions, providing financial support after seven days of work absence due to injury or illness.

401(k) Retirement Plan – ADP Investments

All salaried employees are immediately eligible for our 401(k) plan, with access to over 40 investment funds to build retirement savings.

Paid Time Off (PTO) & Holidays

SmartEdge IT understands the importance of personal time. In addition to paid holidays, employees accrue PTO for vacation and personal days, with accrual rates increasing based on tenure.

U.S. Permanent Residency Sponsorship

For eligible foreign nationals, SmartEdge IT sponsors U.S. permanent residency (EB2 and EB3) based on compliance with governmental and company guidelines.
